Good Day to you and I hope your day is going well so far! :)
Welcome to all our new subscribers this week and I hope you grow
to love us as so many have ... we couldn't do this without you!

I've had a really rough week, but I made it and I'm doing great!
I QUIT SMOKING!

OK, OK -- to the non-smokers out there it may not sound like a big deal... but I have been smoking since I was 18 years old (college) which is 9 years now with only a one year break in there when I was pregnant. So in total, I've puffed the "cancer stick" for 8 years. I wasn't a heavy smoker (half pack a day) but I had to have my nicotine fix. We didn't smoke in the house -- I would go out on the porch in the dead of winter or the hottest of summers just to puff on a cig.

Frankly, I was sick of something as small as a cigarette having that much of a hold on me not to mention what it was doing to my health. So it's been a week -- cold turkey and I'm darn proud of it! :)

Even though I've quit before, I was pregnant and smoking made me sick so it didn't take much willpower or dedication to quit. The first couple of days were TOUGH ... my husband (who had been smoking a few years longer than me) seemed to be doing fine and here I was -- about to fall apart! After I got through those very crucial 72 hours (withdrawals), I felt SO MUCH BETTER. I won't lie, it's only been a week so I DO still crave a cigarette every now and then (especially at times of dire stress) but the desire is getting less and less each day.

Just wanted to share my accomplishment with you! :)

7 Things You Must Do If You Want To Increase Your Traffic

Gary Halbert once said that the ONLY advantage he wanted when it came to selling burgers was not a better sauce, or better grade of beef, but a STARVING CROWD. Simple concept, but not many get it.

1. Find and Know Your Starving Crowd

You can have the greatest product in the world, but still sell squat if no one wants to buy your product. Who are your potential buyers? Do you know them like the back of your hand? KNOW your buyers. Head down to http://www.Overture.com, type in your keywords and take furious notes!

2. Power Position Yourself

Understand that people online are looking for information. They don't want information from just anyone. They want good, solid information from people who have been there, done that. If you can provide valuable advice to your prospects, you can be sure that they'll begin to trust you and develop a RELATIONSHIP with you. And just how do you position yourself as an expert? Easy, Become one.

Once you develop a reputation as an expert, the traffic will come in flocks. People NEED help. Help from experts. Are you an expert? : - )

3. Create an Epidemic

Imagine this. What if you could get a super salesman to spend 24 hours everyday, 7 days every week, 52 weeks every year, for the rest of your life... a salesman who never gets sick or tired and all he does is direct hordes and hordes of targeted traffic to your site?

Don't even try to estimate the astounding value someone like this would bring to your business.

It is possible, and it's called viral marketing. It's the most powerful concept on the Internet. Many have tried using it and many have failed miserably.

People have this misconception that as long as they have an ebook that is "brandable", it constitutes a viral marketing campaign.

They are dead wrong.

4. Steal Traffic from Someone Else

Got you. Of course, there are ethical ways to do that. The most powerful way, is through a JV or Joint Venture. A JV does not mean shooting an email to someone in your field of high repute saying "Hey, wanna do business with me?"

You're in for a big disappointment if you think that's gonna work. Your potential JV partner is a human as well, and chances are, he/she is a SOMEBODY in your field. So make your JV proposal as benefit laden, and "hands free" for your potential partner as possible. Recognize your JV partner's accomplishments, be generous with your praise and above all, be sincere.

But never be afraid to ASK. If you don't A-S-K, you will never G-E-T.

5. Become A Marketing PI

Here's Industrial Espionage 101. The magic word? Forums.

Forums will show you exactly what your target market is unhappy about and the problems they have. Lurk around forums. LISTEN. Forget about YOUR problems and listen to other people's problems. Solve those problems. I guarantee you'll become rich. Zig Ziglar said, the way to achieve success is to help others get what they want.

6. Expired Domains Do More Than Expire

You can always use expired domain names as a great source of traffic. Search the expired domain databases, look on EBay. Some web hosts now allow multiple domains to park on a single account. Take advantage of that.

7. Transform Words into Traffic

Articles are the best "Traffic Machines" that work for ANYONE- no matter what product, service, or information they're selling.

You get 100% targeted traffic, FREE! And, they position you as an expert, and improve your link popularity. Plus, articles are really easy to write as well.

If you have never written an article, go try writing one NOW!

All 7 steps above seem really easy. It's one thing to read and go "ahh" and another thing to read those steps and actually take solid action. Nothing will happen until you take action. No action equals no traffic, equals no sales, equals no money to pay the rent.

Make a Promise, Grab a Sale

Cross my heart and hope to die; swear on my mother's grave; the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help you God. These are all promises. Whether these statements are used to make a false promise or not, they all do one thing; they make the promisee feel secure.

One of the quickest ways to get a potential customer's attention is to make a promise. In marketing, that promise should be the first thing they see, so it should be embedded in the headline.

A headline should appeal to an immediate need. Regardless of who your target audience is, all people have the need to feel secure; to know that an advertised product or service can fulfill the advertised claim. That is where the promise comes in.

Now, this doesn't mean that you should say the words "I promise," only that they should be implied. Offer a benefit and phrase it in a way that says, "We are completely confident in what we claim."

But beware the false promise. Though plenty of advertisers make them, a false promise will only sell a product or service once. If you want to create long-term customers, make a promise that your product or service can fulfill. Once they see you are as good as your word, they will feel utterly secure. And security is what really sells a product.

Should You Build Your Own Opt-in Email List?

The easiest way to acquire an email list for your ezine or email marketing is just to buy one. They're not too expensive, and they provide you with a long list of names and email addresses.

But if there is one thing I've learned as the owner of an ezine, it is that the easy road is not always the one that brings you the best results. The problem with buying an email list is that none of the people on that list know who you are. When they receive an email from you, most likely they will just delete it without bothering to open it.

That is why it is so beneficial to build your own opt-in email list. Yes, creating a list from scratch is the more difficult and time-consuming solution, but at least it is a solution. Email lists rarely bring the desired results, so the money you spend on them might as well be flushed down the toilet.

Email marketing and ezine distribution isn't about blasting a bunch of strangers with sales pitches and information they don't want and didn't ask for. If you really want to achieve results with your email list, you need to build your own.

Here is a list of questions you need to ask yourself when building your email list:

*Who is your target audience and what do you have to offer them?

*What kind of relationship do you want with the recipients of your emailings?

*What method or methods will you use to collect email addresses? Web forms, registration or subscription forms, trade shows, telephone contacts and sales calls are all viable ways to get the email addresses of people who will be interested in what you have to offer.

*Will your emails come in the form of ads, newsletters, deals and specials, company announcements and press releases, or discussion lists?

*Will you handle the creative aspects of your mailings, such as copywriting and editing, or will you need a little help?

Once you're ready to start building your list, use outside lists to help you get started. You can recruit opt-in list members by renting an opt-in list to send out an announcement. You could also try taking out an ad in a targeted email newsletter or discussion list.

Product Review: Mark Joyner's Farewell Package

I was impressed. And if you know me, you know that doesn't happen very easily.

I paid for the Mark Joyner Farewell package when it was first offered.

I've been in this business for over 6 years and have earned millions online personally, but I had to jump on the offer. There was so much invaluable code in this package that something would have had to be wrong with my head to miss it.

This source code allows you to create your own products, run an affiliate program, set-up a membership site, and so much more...

I received my package a few days ago and opened it up immediately.

Several parts of it immediately took me by surprise.

Most of the time when you read a sales letter you expect that they may be hyping it up a little. "OK, their product may be good, but it probably isn't quite as good as what they're saying." So you take it all with a grain of salt.

But the package I received actually excelled over the sales letter this time. The sales letter is a good one of course, but his package is actually much better than the sales letter represents.

There are even little additions in each code that will easily multiply the results and sales anyone will get from it. Mark definitely knows how to run his business and how to get code developed for maximum profits.

If you use only one of these codes, then you will have gotten 10 times your value from the package.

2. The audio interviews are worth way more than the total cost of the package.

I had looked at the audio interviews as the "free bonus" Mark was using to add a little additional value to the package. I was wrong.

I've listened to 7 of the interviews so far...

These interviews are brand new. They were created specifically for this package and include many steps, strategies, and techniques Mark Joyner personally gives you to use the source code to maximum advantage.

Mark handpicked the people interviewing him on these CDs to make sure he had the cream-of-the-crop. In fact, he turns the interview around several times to actually pull never before revealed information out of the person doing the interview.

The CDs are done so that some of them are on a basic level to get a beginner started. Other ones are so advanced that a pro like me was actually taking notes with plans to implement those techniques soon. No matter what level you're at, there is definitely something for you in these recordings.

Even if you were drop dead lazy and never used a single source code, you would still get way more than your money's worth with these interviews.

This is never once mentioned in the sales letter, but he has actually built a support community for all buyers.

You'll find developers who can help you modify the code, top marketing experts, and a place to network with others. I don't have any idea why Mark never mentioned this in the sales copy. It easily doubles or triples the value of the package.

To put it simply...you are not alone when you buy this. You instantly become a member of a closed door community who are striving for success online together.

And I'm not the only one who has been impressed with the package so far. I've corresponded with Mark personally and he shared some of the other rave reviews that have come in already...
