Whats Love Got To Do With It?

Ask successful online business owners, and theyll quickly tell you there are certain things that are imperative in order to reach your business goals. Some of the common responses to the question "How do you thrive online?" are: dedication, organization, perseverance, and street smarts. But whats love got to do with it?
Everything! The number one factor stated in regard to success online is "loving what you do." There are several reasons this is important. The first deals with the very nature of online business.
Burn Out
Most Web startups work practically 24 hours a day. Every spare moment is devoted to nurturing the new business. If you dont absolutely love what you do, youll quickly burn out. Frustration, aggravation, and fatigue will set in and - before you realize it - youre on your way out.
Perseverance
Love of what you do also comes into play with regard to perseverance. Those who cant wait to begin work every day are more likely to persevere in down times than those who only do the work to get a paycheck.
Without a love for what you do, you are more likely to jump ship during rough times, reducing your chances for success.
Dedication
Dedication is only present when certain emotions are present. People will be dedicated when they have loyalty toward someone or something. People will be dedicated when they are feeling greed and want to achieve a reward. And people will be dedicated when they love someone or something.
Without some emotional backing, dedication is just another word. And unless you have dedication for your online business, its just going to be something else to do.
Street Smarts
Everybody knows that experience is the best teacher. And just how do you get experience? By living life online and taking chances. But how likely are you to take chances and gain the street smarts you need if you dont love what you do? Not very!
Gaining that vital real-world experience you need to succeed only happens when you persevere and are dedicated to your business. That wont happen unless you love what you do.
Do you see a cycle here? Every element you need for success has one central foundation... love. You must love what you do in order to spend night and day building a prosperous business. You must love what you do in order to survive the tough times and gain the experience you need.
If youve been struggling with your online business, Ill give you a piece of advice. Look at what youre doing. Do you love it? If you could choose anything in the world to do, would this be it? If not, you might be wise to re-evaluate your online business. Making changes now could save you a lot of trouble in the future.
If you *do* love what you do, I encourage you to hold on. All the attributes Ive listed above will help you succeed if you stay focused and keep the fire alive.

3 Free Super Powerful Techniques For Building Your Own Opt-in List

For those of you who have been with this newsletter for any length of time have learned that the number one way to earn any kind of income on the 'Net is to start, run and maintain your own opt-in list.
No matter what type of product or service you might be offering, you will never harness the true money making potential of email marketing without your own highly targeted opt-in list.
So with this article you will discover 3 ways to build your list and not spend one penny out of your pocket, which is always a nice thing :-)
So lets get right to it...
#1 - Write an "endorsement" article.
Yes, you have all heard about the list building power of writing and submitting articles, but lets take it one step further.
Get together with 3 or 4 other ezine publishers.
To find potential publishing partners you can simply use the Free ezine search engine over at...

Compile a list of publishers who have ezines that are compatible with your subject matter.
Try and target ezines who have the same number of subscribers as you.
If you are just starting out, then contact publishers who have at least 500 subscribers.
Then you send them out a short email that outlines why you are contacting them and how this "endorsement" will benefit them.
Have the publishers send you 4-6 line description of their ezines.
Once you have found 3 or 4 publishers who are willing to work with you, write up a really good article on your particular subject.
Fill it full of good content. Toward the end of the article let your readers know they can find even more "insider" information by subscribing to the other publishers list.
You "endorse" the other ezines by saying something like: "These are the best of the best" in their field and you should get to know them.
List the publishers at the end of the article.
Once the article is finished, each of the participating publishers run the article to their list and BAM new, fresh subscribers.
#2 - Run a Joint Venture "endorsement" Solo Ad.
With this awesome technique, you again get with 3 or 4 publishers by using the same techniques as described above.
Have each publisher send you a 5-8 line description of their ezines.
Instead of running an article, you build a simple one page mini-site that explains all the cool "insider" benefits that all 3 or 4 of you are going to offer for Free.
You then place each of the descriptions into your mini site.
Write up a strong Solo Ad and have each one of the participating publishers run it to their list.
Again...BAM more fresh and Free subscribers.

#3 - Run a "Free Ad Contest".
This is a fun a quick way to build your list. As above you get 3 or 4 publishers together and each donate a very nice prime Solo Ad Spot.
You then write up a short letter that describes the contest and how each potential person has a chance to win Solo Ads worth the total of all 3 or 4 ads.
You have each of the publishers give you a 4-6 line description of their ezines and add them to your letter.
Simply have each of the publishers run the letter to their ezine list.
The letter leads them to the subscribe pages for each of your publishers.

This technique works like clockwork so use it sparingly.

1) Give Unexpected Gifts
Give your customers more than they expect. Send thank you gifts to lifetime customers. E-mail them online greeting cards on holidays or birthdays. You could always send a back-end product offer with any contact you make. Award bonuses or points to your customers who make big purchases.
2) Communicate Regularly
Stay in contact with customers on a regular basis. Offer them a free e-zine subscription. Ask customers if they want to be updated by e-mail when you make changes to your web site. After every sale, follow up with the customer to see if they are satisfied with their purchase or have any questions.
3) Resolve Problems Quickly
Resolve your customer's complaints quickly and successfully. Answer all e-mails and phone calls within an hour. If possible, you as the owner of the business, should personally take care of the problem. This will show your customers you really care about them and want their business in the future.

A middle-aged woman had a heart attack and was taken to the hospital. While on the operating table she had a near-death experience. Seeing God, she asked if this was it. God said, "No, you have another 43 years, 2 months, and 8 days to live."
